what exactly is wrong between INDIA AND CHINA? DID CHINA OCCUPIED INDIAN LAND? EVERYTHING EXPLAINED

The conflicts between India and China in eastern ladakh is going on for a while.with over billion population on each side these two nuclear armed Superpowers of Asia are fighting each other on border disputes. any wrong move from one of them can escalate into war. so new Delhi and Beijing are working in tandem do deescalate the tensions in border. 

                    

                               

let us know what exactly is happening between two nations.

Before proceeding further lets clear some important terms regarding borders.

1. Border Line

The exact boundary between two countries without any disputes.

The Red line above is a Border Line between India and Pakistan.

2. L.A.C (LINE OF ACTUAL CONTROL)

china occupied some parts of Indian territory in 1962 and the boundary till which china occupied or the line till which Indian Army has control is known as LAC.

The green color line between India and China is LAC.India and china has about 3500 KM long LAC.

3.Disputed territory.

As name itself tells us most of the part but still

the area between actual border line and LAC is Disputed Territory. Nobody stays in this disputed territory.Just the army of those two nations patrol frequently.

The army men of both countries do not patrol at the same time.

But if by chance both army patrol at the same time and come across each other it is called STAND OFF.

In stand off both the army people often display banners saying  "you entered our are please step back"   like the below picture

To know what exactly is happening between India and china

 Let us go back to 1962.

An agreement was made between two nations that neither of the army men should use weapons or any other fire arms. if at all something is serious they should only use their physical strengths.

After 2014.

 After Narendra Modi took charge as PM, His Government  is developing infrastructure aggressively along LAC like building roads, constructing Air fields and thus making the job of army to patrol easily, frequently and this provoked chinese.

2020 :

Having spread the wuhan virus to the entire world China is being targeted by every nation. But their army never forget to annoy its neighborhood be it with border issue with India or Island dispute  with Japan or Russia. 

As of now India and china have stand off at three place

              

     1. PANGONG LAKE

    2. GALWAN VALLEY

    3. HOT SPRINGS

PANGONG LAKE :

pangong lake is one of famous tourist spot in laddakh. in 1962 war china occupied some part of pangong lake and claims that it is part of china. but India discards it as they occupied it illegally.

on may 5th 2020 nearly 5000 chinese troops came forward untill India border leading to stand off. till now High rank officers are at peace talks.

This news came out in media on May 12th.

GALWAN VALLEY :

Chinese troops crossed LAC at galwan valley and made their tents.

 Indian army were on patrol across LAC and discovered something unusual.

Indian army who were on patrol went back to their base to report the situation. at the same time there were additional 300 plus chinese troops arrived at the spot with metal rods studded with nails.

Col Santosh babu arrived at the spot and warned chinese men to remove the tents and vacate the place immediately. 

After heated argument Indian army burnt the tents into ashes which led to exchanging blows. the chinese army assaulted Indian army with those Iron rods and helplessly Indian army fought with stones. resulting in loss of 20 lives of Indian men.This fight was continued for 12 hours on 15th june 2020.

However china didn't disclosed the casuality numbers of chinese army. But according to US intel the casualities in chinese side is upto 45.  China is a communist country,everything should run according to government if they disclose the exact numbers of casualities it may hurt the public sentiments and bring negative remarks to government.

India is a democratic country.Government is held responsible and accountable for every thing. so every thing that happens need to be disclosed.

Galwan valley incident is a bit serious as there are many strategic benefits for china if they can acquire galwan valley. chinese army can take over the mountains in the valley and easily attack indian road.This road is very important for India in fight with China

3. HOT SPRINGS :

This is another place where chinese are trying to cross LAC. But as per experts there are no strategic benefits for china in capturing HotSprings but this is only to divert Indian Army attention.

As per experts who deal with china says china practice Creeping Forward policy.

         

         In 2008,2009 chinese went to Islands of  Vietnam and phillipiens with fishing boats and the government of both countries didnt opposed as they came in fishing boats. slowly the chinese army came and expanded the Islands artificially and started constructing Airbases and claimed it as their lands.

they are following the same policy with India.

But the chinese government should know that this is not India in 1962. This is New India which is getting support from world super powers like USA,Russia.
